Our team at DoF have been there – we have studied advanced degrees and worked in academia and industry. Our team has been both students and mentors and we have seen so many passionate, intelligent students complete their degree and ask “What’s next?”. Many are unsure whether to continue in academic research or to pursue a non-academic career, or even what non-academic careers are available.

In our experience, many people underestimate how employable they are. You aren’t limited to the field that you studied, and you have transferable skills – many that you don’t realise you have – which are valued in a wide range of positions and industries. Employers need people who can learn quickly, think critically, and solve problems creatively – exactly what your advanced degree has trained you for.
